History: Owned for many years by Swedish Olympic sailor Thomas Lunqvist, who campaigned the boat extensively throughout Europe. Sting now becomes part of the St Francis Yacht Club's re-entry onto the 6mR World stage and recently sailed in the 2016 European Championships in Brunnen, Switzerland, placing 2nd under Russ Silvestri. Sting will next take part in the 2016 North Americans in San Francisco and the 2017 World Championships in Vancouver, B.C.
